The Queen's Head is a Grade II listed Country Inn,built in the 18th century as an addition to an earlier and much smaller 17th century dwelling. Located in the charming Sussex village of West Chiltington this warm and cozy country pub offers fresh food and fresh ideas together with Caribbean favorites, innovative menus and a fully stocked bar with a small but specially selected choice of wines

As the new tenants one of our primary objectives was to re-establish a sense of community and pride in the Queen's Head.
We believe we are now well on the way to creating a family and pet-friendly community pub and restaurant. Everyone is invited to enjoy our carefully prepared food, a well kept cellar and a welcoming atmosphere.

Caribbean Christmas in Sussex
Previously been here and had the regular weekday menu and the Sunday lunch menu, all of which have been excellent. Christmas meal today. Chef Curtis has included some traditional Caribbean dishes in the Christmas menu, so I had the Guyanese Pepperpot, and Geoff had Bajan Jugjug as part of his meal. Both were sooo good! Booked the Christmas menu again for next week, and looking forward to trying some of the other dishes on it.

I can't believe this is our local!
We are so lucky to have a great pub a few minutes walk. The food is good, the beer is good, very welcoming and great service.

Warm and friendly pub.
Friendly atmosphere. Sunday lunch was amazing. Vegetarian Wellington was home made with a delicate spice.
The landlords are extra warm and welcoming.
Couldn’t rate this place any higher. We felt at home instantly.
Fab!
Warm and welcoming, food was superb, good portions and very reasonable, and so much better than the usual pub grub. Good selection of drinks too. Thanks everybody for a lovely evening.
